Reverse — kantharos, club right above, ΘΕ-ΒΗ flanking the base; incuse square

Attribution: Greece (Boiotia). Thebes. The city of Thebes, leading power of the Boiotian League. c. 425–375 BC. AR. hemidrachm.

Obverse: Boiotian shield — oval with rounded cut-outs at each side

Reverse: Kantharos (two-handled drinking cup); above, club right; all within shallow incuse square

Weight: Not yet weighed; the denomination's standard is c. 2.5–2.7 g.  Reference: BCD Boiotia 412
