Attribution: Thrace. Byzantion. The city of Byzantion. c. 387/6–340 BC. AR. half siglos.

Obverse: Bull (cow) standing left on a dolphin left, right foreleg raised; 'ΠΥ above (the initial letters of the city's name, with the archaic local form of beta)

Reverse: Quadripartite incuse square of 'mill-sail' pattern, the sunken quarters stippled with granulation

Weight: 2.50 g (my scale) (Weighed 2026-07-12 — the half-siglos class (c. 2.4 g standard), settling the denomination. No weight on the tag.)  Reference: SNG BM Black Sea 36 ff.
